AN ACT CONCERNING THE PUBLICATION OF LEGAL NOTICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to publish in the newspaper notice of the availability of a document on the municipality's web site rather than having to publish the entire document in such newspaper.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide meaningful unfunded state mandate relief to municipalities without hampering the public's right to information.
