AN ACT CONCERNING RESIDENT STATE TROOPERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 29-5 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to develop a program to permit the sharing of a resident state police officer among multiple municipalities.
Statement of Purpose:
To enable small towns to work collectively for the provision of police services.
