AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF A DATABASE CONTAINING SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGETARY INFORMATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-10c of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to develop a database containing the chart of accounts submitted by each local and regional board of education.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Education to create a database with budgetary information submitted by school districts, including district spending, that will be accessible to the public.
