AN ACT CONCERNING THE HARBOR MASTER PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That titles 15 and 22a of the general statutes be amended to consolidate the harbor master program under the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and to provide municipalities with the authority to appoint such harbor masters.
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance local control of harbor masters and to align the harbor master function with the appropriate state agency.
