AN ACT CONCERNING CORPORATION BUSINESS TAX TRANSPARENCY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require publicly-traded corporations doing business in Connecticut to file a statement annually with the Comptroller disclosing information about taxes paid to Connecticut.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide information on what taxes are paid by publicly-traded corporations doing business in Connecticut.
