AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROPERTY TAX CIRCUIT BREAKER PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-170aa of the general statutes be amended to provide property tax relief based not on age, but on income.
Statement of Purpose:
To change the property tax circuit breaker program from a program for seniors to a program based on income eligibility.
