23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That chapter 833a of the general statutes be amended to (1) permit state and local housing inspectors to provide notice to a landlord of an alleged violation of a municipal ordinance or public health code provision by means of regular mail or hand delivery, and (2) provide state and local officials with a greater array of punishment that may be imposed on a landlord found to have violated a municipal ordinance or public health code provision and that such punishment include, but not be limited to, the imposition of community service on a landlord and treating any violation of a municipal ordinance or the public health code as a class D felony. | |
