23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That section 17b-340 of the general statutes be amended to update the rate setting system for residential care homes. Under said system: (1) Inflation cost limitations shall be removed, (2) rates may be increased for reasonable costs associated with compliance with the provisions of section 19a-495a of the general statutes concerning the administration of medication by unlicensed personnel, (3) minimum rates shall be set for real property, and (4) fair rent increases may be made for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2012, and June 30, 2013. | |
