AN ACT CONCERNING SEASONAL EMPLOYEES AND UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow an individual currently receiving unemployment benefits to defer the receipt of such benefits if the individual finds seasonal employment so that when the seasonal employment is completed the individual shall continue to receive unemployment benefits at a level equal to those received prior to engaging in such seasonal employment.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage unemployed people to seek employment.
