AN ACT CONCERNING INFLUENZA VACCINES FOR THE ELDERLY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-492d of the general statutes be amended to require a representative of the Department of Public Health or a nonprofit agency that provides health care services to visit elderly housing units in the state in December each year to administer influenza vaccines to elderly persons.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that seniors living in elderly housing receive flu shots or flu mists.
