AN ACT REQUIRING GUN STORE OWNERS TO SAFELY SECURE RIFLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require gun store owners to safely secure their inventory of rifles by one of three measures: (1) Attaching the rifle to the wall by means of a secure locking coil, similar to a bicycle cable lock, (2) keeping the rifle under glass, or (3) keeping all entrances to the store locked with entry allowed only by means of an electronic buzzer system.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that gun store owners safely secure their inventory.
