AN ACT CONCERNING SAFETY TRAINING FOR SCHOOL BUS OPERATORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-276a of the general statutes be amended to provide that any school bus company or carrier, as defined in section 14-212 of the general statutes, upon approval by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, may provide any required school bus operator safety training and evaluation for school bus operators employed by such company or carrier.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow school bus companies or carriers to provide the mandatory safety training for school bus operators in their employ.
