2525 AN ACT CONCERNING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF STATE PORTS.

2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2929 That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Transportation to create a comprehensive plan for improvements to the state's largest ports in Bridgeport, New Haven and New London. Such plan shall identify any improvements to such ports, including, but not limited to, dredging, necessary to accommodate larger vessels and container traffic and to leverage water-railroad transshipment for the distribution of commodities throughout the state and southern New England.
