AN ACT REQUIRING DOG BREEDERS TO BE LICENSED.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require dog breeders to be licensed rather than having such requirement be determined by towns.

Statement of Purpose: 

To have consistency and uniformity in the licensure of dog breeders by having such licensure occur at the state level rather than the local level. .
