AN ACT CONCERNING DEADLINES FOR TREASURERS TO SUBMIT CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 155 and 157 of the general statutes be amended to require all deadlines for treasurers submitting campaign finance reports to the State Elections Enforcement Commission to be based on the postmark date and not by the receipt of the report.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure timely filing of campaign finance reports.
