| 27 | 27 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

| 29 | 29 | That section 9-360 of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalty to a class D felony and disenfranchisement for voting in any town meeting, primary, election, or referendum where the person is not qualified to vote, and for voting more than once at the same town meeting, primary, election, or referendum; that section 9-360 of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalty to a class C felony and disenfranchisement for voting or attempting to vote at any election, primary, referendum or town meeting by assuming the name of another legally qualified person; that sections 9-359 and 9-359a of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalty to a class C felony and disenfranchisement for absentee ballot fraud; and that section 9-358 of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalty to a class C felony and disenfranchisement for any person who falsely swears to any registrar of voters, moderator of any election, primary or referendum, and any board for admission of electors, any material fact concerning any qualifications of that person to be registered or admitted as an elector. | |
