AN ACT CONCERNING PROPERTY TAX RELIEF FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to reduce the rate of taxation for or exempt from taxation motor vehicles and personal property owned by senior citizens and veterans.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow towns to provide property tax relief to their senior citizens and veterans.
