2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2929 That the general statutes be amended to create a veterans' court pilot program within the Superior Court that is specifically dedicated to cases involving veterans charged with low-level felonies and misdemeanors and will administer and expand the state's existing diversionary program for veterans by helping participating veterans obtain counseling, psychiatric and addiction treatment, and other benefits and services available from state agencies and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
