Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a social enterprise business as a type of for-profit business entity that has as one of its primary purposes the creation of a social benefit. Statement of Purpose: To provide for the establishment of social enterprise businesses in the state.
