AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION GRANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 11-24c of the general statutes be amended to increase the state grant amount for the construction of public libraries from one-third of the total construction cost to one-half of the total construction cost for application submitted on or after September 1, 2013.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the state grant percentage for public library construction grants.
