AN ACT CONCERNING THE SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT THE VERNON E. CLEAVES VOCATIONAL AGRICULTURE CENTER IN WALLINGFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (d) of section 10-286 of the general statutes or any regulations adopted by the State Board of Education or the Department of Construction Services pursuant to said section requiring change orders to be submitted not later than six months after the date such change order is issued, the town of Wallingford may submit a change order after such six-month time limit for the new regional vocational agricultural construction project at Lyman Hall High School (Project Number 148-0147 VA/N).
Statement of Purpose:
To permit Wallingford to submit a change order for a school construction project later than six months after such change order was issued.
