2421 AN ACT CONCERNING WEEKLY CAMPAIGN FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.

2623 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

28-Section 1. (Effective from passage) The State Elections Enforcement Commission shall review the schedules, set forth in sections 9-608 and 9-712 of the general statutes, under which campaign treasurers of candidate committees file campaign finance statements. Not later than January 1, 2014, the commission shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, any findings of redundancies in such filing requirements and any recommendations to reduce the frequency of filing under such schedules for the month proceeding an election to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to elections.
