AN ACT PERMITTING EACH BRANCH OF THE ARMED FORCES TO PETITION THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL NUMBER PLATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-19a of the general statutes be amended to permit each branch of the armed forces of the United States to petition the Department of Motor Vehicles for the issuance of a special certificate of registration and set of number plates reflecting the holder's past or present service in such branch of the armed forces of the United States.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow each branch of the armed forces to petition the Department of Motor Vehicles for the creation of special number plates.
