AN ACT CONCERNING MILITARY STYLE WEAPONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the purchase or possession of any semiautomatic pistol, rifle or shot gun with one or more features of a military style assault weapon, except for any such purchase or possession for police or military purposes.
Statement of Purpose:
To ban the private purchase or possession of certain military style semiautomatic pistols, rifles and shot guns.
