| 28 | 28 | Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2013) (a) The Commissioner on Aging, in consultation with the Commissioner of Social Services and the Commission on Aging, shall conduct a study of state services to the aging population. | |

| 30 | 30 | (b) The study shall include, but not be limited to: (1) Demographic projections of the percentage of the state's population that will be fifty-five years of age or older for each year on and after January 1, 2014, and ending January 1, 2034; (2) an inventory of state and federally funded programs for persons fifty-five years of age or older; (3) an assessment of the need for programs to serve persons fifty-five years of age or older; and (4) an analysis of any gaps in services. | |
