AN ACT CONCERNING REVIEW AND MODIFICATION OF LENGTHY SENTENCES SERVED BY JUVENILE OFFENDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish the mechanism recommended by the Connecticut Sentencing Commission for the review and possible reduction of any lengthy sentence served by an individual for a crime that was committed when the individual was a child or youth.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish the mechanism recommended by the Connecticut Sentencing Commission for the review and possible reduction of any lengthy sentence served by an individual for a crime that was committed when the individual was a child or youth.
