AN ACT CONCERNING ALTERNATIVE REVENUE SOURCES FOR MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to raise revenue by alternative sources to the property tax, provided the property tax in such municipalities is commensurately reduced.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the local property tax burden.
