AN ACT CONCERNING VIRTUAL NET METERING QUALIFICATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 16-244u of the general statutes be amended to permit a municipality that leases municipally owned land or generation equipment to a third party to qualify for virtual net metering.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities that enter into power purchase agreements with third parties to qualify for virtual net metering.
