Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Revenue Services to give taxpayers the option of receiving any income tax refund either by credit card or by paper check. Statement of Purpose: In light of the recent Department of Revenue Services decision to issue all tax refunds via credit card, to allow taxpayers the option to choose to obtain their refund by paper check.
