AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELIMINATION OF THE PREVAILING WAGE STANDARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate any mandate that contractors or subcontractors working on public works projects abide by prevailing wage standards.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide local tax relief by eliminating all statutory mandates to abide by prevailing wage standards in the context of public works projects.
