AN ACT CONCERNING STATE ACTION TO REDUCE HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND ASSIST THE VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 368m of the general statutes be amended to allow the state to bring an action to abate a public nuisance against a person who owns, leases, maintains or uses real property to engage in human trafficking and that any fines imposed against a person who has engaged in human trafficking be remitted to the victims of such human trafficking. Statement of Purpose: To enhance the state's ability to reduce human trafficking and provide assistance to the victims of human trafficking.
