AN ACT INCREASING THE VALUE OF ITEMS ALLOWED TO BE SOLD TAX-FREE BY CERTAIN NONPROFIT GROUPS AND SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (26) of section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to allow certain nonprofit groups and schools to sell items costing up to one hundred dollars tax-free, an increase from the current twenty-dollar per item limit.
Statement of Purpose:
To relieve the administrative burden on nonprofit groups and schools.
