AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSPECTION OF MOTORCYCLES WITH AFTERMARKET EXHAUST PIPES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require local police, upon issuing a ticket for any excessive noise violation to any operator of a motorcycle with aftermarket exhaust pipes, to order that such pipes be inspected by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Statement of Purpose:
To strengthen motorcycle noise laws by ordering an inspection of aftermarket exhaust pipes when a ticket for a noise violation is issued.
