AN ACT CONCERNING THE NAME OF ROUTE 99 IN WETHERSFIELD AND ROCKY HILL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That Route 99 in Wethersfield, from the Wethersfield-Hartford town line to the Wethersfield-Rocky Hill town line, be renamed the "Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Highway" and that Route 99 in Rocky Hill, from the Wethersfield-Rocky Hill town line to the Rocky Hill-Cromwell town line, be renamed the "Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Highway".
Statement of Purpose:
To rename Route 99 in Wethersfield and Rocky Hill to recognize the volunteer fire departments in each municipality.
