AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of Construction Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013, for the purpose of installing security infrastructure, such as entry buzzers and panic buttons, in public schools.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide enhanced security in the public schools.
