AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE USE OF HIGH-OCCUPANCY VEHICLE LANES BY ALL VEHICLES DURING RUSH HOUR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize the use of high-occupancy vehicle lanes on interstate highways by all motor vehicles on weekdays, from four o'clock pm. until six o'clock pm.
Statement of Purpose:
To ease traffic congestion by allowing the use of high-occupancy vehicle lanes by all motor vehicles during afternoon rush hours.
