AN ACT CONCERNING THE FUNDING OF REGIONAL COMMUNITY-TECHNICAL COLLEGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to modify the existing funding mechanism for regional community-technical colleges to eliminate the transfer of dollars from one regional community-technical college to another regional community-technical college, except in the event of an emergency.
Statement of Purpose:
To create greater equity and fairness and encourage each regional community-technical college to operate in the most effective and efficient manner by rewarding those colleges that operate effectively and efficiently.
