29 | 29 | That the general statutes be amended to establish an academically gifted advancement program pursuant to which academically-gifted eleventh grade students who pass a qualifying examination, with a priority given to such students who demonstrate an interest and proficiency in math, science and engineering, may forgo their senior year of high school and enroll at a state university within the Connecticut State University System or The University of Connecticut, provided such students maintain qualifying grades in their college level courses. | |
