AN ACT CONCERNING AFFIRMATIVE ACTION AND STATE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to update the affirmative action laws to reflect the results of the recent disparities study and to create an enforcement mechanism to ensure that affirmative action standards are met on state construction projects.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that Connecticut residents, minorities and women are represented on state construction projects.
