AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES TO SERVE AS CITATION HEARING OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-152c of the general statutes be amended to allow any municipal employee, other than an employee who issues citations, to be appointed as a citation hearing officer.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce municipal expenses by permitting certain municipal employees to serve as citation hearing officers.
