AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PILOT PROGRAM TO ALLOW HOMELESS SHELTERS TO PROVIDE RECUPERATIVE CARE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot program in the cities of Bridgeport, Danbury, Hartford and New Haven that would allow local homeless shelters to provide recuperative care for homeless individuals discharged from hospitals. 

Statement of Purpose: 

To create a twenty-four-hour recuperative care pilot program for the homeless.
