AN ACT CONCERNING HONORARY DIPLOMAS FOR VIETNAM VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-5 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Education to issue an honorary state high school diploma to any veteran who did not complete high school due to service in the armed forces during the Vietnam era.
Statement of Purpose:
To honor Vietnam era veterans who left school early to join the armed forces.
