AN ACT CONCERNING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE SHERWOOD ISLAND MEMORIAL FUND FROM INCOME TAX REFUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a check-off box on the income tax return form that will allow a taxpayer to contribute a portion of their refund to the Sherwood Island Memorial Fund.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow taxpayers to contribute to the Sherwood Island Memorial Fund from their tax refund.
