AN ACT CONCERNING TIMELY PAYMENTS TO INSUREDS AFTER SUBMISSION OF PROOF OF LOSS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to streamline the process and decrease the time frame for payment by insurers after proof of loss is submitted by an insured for a covered property loss.
Statement of Purpose:
To streamline the process and decrease the time frame for payment by insurers after proof of loss is submitted by an insured for a covered property loss.
