AN ACT CONCERNING MANUFACTURING TRANSITION GRANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4-66l of the general statutes be amended to increase the total amount of the grant payments to fifty million dollars and increase the payment to each municipality proportionately.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the manufacturing transition grants that replaced the payment in lieu of taxes that reimbursed municipalities for mandatory property tax exemptions on commercial motor vehicles and manufacturing machinery and equipment.
