AN ACT PROHIBITING DOG OWNERS FROM ABUSING THEIR PETS THROUGH CHAINING AND CONFINEMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to enact restrictions on the ability of dog owners to abuse their pets through the chaining and confinement of such animals.
Statement of Purpose:
To better protect dogs from abuse.
