AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MATTRESS RECYCLING PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES A FEE AT THE POINT OF PURCHASE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a mattress recycling program that includes a fee imposed at the point of purchase to fund such program.
Statement of Purpose:
To clean up the environment in a manner that does not pose a risk to mattress manufacturers.
