AN ACT CONCERNING A TAX EXEMPTION FOR SMALL BUSINESSES THAT HIRE NEW EMPLOYEES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide an exemption of up to thirty per cent of the income from a business entity, provided such income is used to hire new employees.

Statement of Purpose: 

To support small businesses and promote job growth by exempting certain small business income from taxation if the money is used to hire new employees.
