AN ACT CONCERNING THE METHOD OF PAYMENT OF AN INCOME TAX REFUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to provide taxpayers the option of receiving their income tax refund by check, automatic deposit or debit card with a check off box on the tax return indicating the preferred method of return.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow taxpayers options as to the method of payment of their state income tax refund.
