AN ACT CONCERNING THE COMPACT FOR AMERICA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the state to enter into an agreement adopted among the states to adopt and ratify a balanced budget amendment under Article V of the United States Constitution.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the state to enter into an agreement to adopt and ratify a balanced budget amendment under Article V of the United States Constitution.
